ROOM 1:

► FILTHY DUKES- are a synthpop band from London, England. The band is composed of Olly Dixon (sampling, electronic percussion, electric guitar), Tim Lawton (synthesisers, lead vocalist) and Mark Ralph (bass guitar, backing vocals). Having been active since 2005, the band released their debut single "Tupac Robot Club Rock" on Fiction Records. The track features vocals by Philadelphian rap group Plastic Little. Their debut album, Nonsense in the Dark, was released on Monday 16 March 2009 with the track Messages receiving mounds of airplay. Since then this duo have been residents at Fabric amongst many other international shows worldwide.

►STARPUNK- having already remixed the likes of NOISIA, ZOMBIE NATION and many more, this electronic duo are starting to make waves in London after leaving their homeland of GEORGIA. Known internationally for their biggest DJ export MORD FUSTANG, the two young producers Alex and Lasha aim to follow firmly in his footsteps with many more official releases coming out this year already, watch this space.

►FUTURIZM- UK based producers comprising of N-Ton & Phear Phace. Following successes like officially remixing Modestep, and hitting the top 10 Beatport charts with a collaboration with Calvertron, they came together early 2012 to push the boundaries of their usual genres. Their debut EP went to hit no 1 on Trackitdown, and they are remixing the likes of Aldo Vanuccii, Thieve (Eats Everything), Ben Westbeach, Kraak & Smaak, Ahllex and have received radio play on BBC Introducing, 1Xtra, Rinse and Rough Tempo. This really is one exciting project that has just surfaced into the scene with a bang: make sure you get a piece of it!

ROOM 2:

►YOU LOVE HER COZ SHES DEAD- London/Brighton based YOU LOVE HER COZ SHE’S DEAD are an electronic duo that is creeping up behind you. The self-titled debut album follows an iTunes featured 'Hot Picks' several times sold out vinyl Kitsuné ‘Inner City Angst’ EP, as well as sold out DIY 7 inch vinyl, remixes & various compilations on Kitsuné, EMI, Glasstone, Flake, Arcade Pony & Hottwerk. YOU LOVE HER COZ SHE'S DEAD won an INDY award before physically performing on series 3 of SKINS, music featured on TV shows TEEN WOLF, AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL, GIRLS (HBO) and video game, SAINTS ROW 3, amongst other film and TV. YOU LOVE HER COZ SHE'S DEAD have also been billed with acts such as STEVE AOKI, CRYSTAL CASTLES, SLEIGH BELLS, UFFIE, & SEBASTIAN in the UK and various other countries.

► THE COOLNESS- London's most outrageous party band. Imagine T-Rex born in the future, creating music using Logic/Ableton. This is The Coolness. A mix of theatrical pop rock and (uber-hip) electronic music. Songs scene kids (East London/Berlin/Brooklyn) can dance to. Call it 'Stadium Cool' 'Spam Metal' 'Cool Wave'. Whatever. The Coolness' formation coincided with the dawn of Facebook and iPhone… Only a few years ago, secretive 'Warehouse Party' style events - solely organized through social networking sites - were inescapable. Affordable Technology rapidly changed the landscape of clubbing, music and sociable gatherings. The evolution of the internet meant any person with access to a suitable space or large collection of friends could become a successful promoter. Bands became promoters. Handheld twit machines were no longer a satirical joke.

► FIGURES- Figures are a london-based production duo who formed in 2011. They create atmospheric low-tempo electronic house music using analogue equipment. Described as "one of the coolest surprises in instrumental music of the year" by Big Stereo. Expect big things this year.

► OBEY!- Obey! started in 2010 with Josh Torrent and Léonard B. After touring quite a bit with their metal band in Paris, they moved to London and decided to inject their Live energy into a new electronic project : Obey! From French Electro to Uk Dubstep, Obey! is bashing through different styles and tempos. They create a sound that blasts the speakers but stays incredibly dancy. Between Josh’s powerful drumming and Leonard B.’s crazy mashups and samples, Obey! live literally brings hell on earth. Once you’ve tasted it, you can’t go back.

► BLONDE BUNNY- Blonde Bunny are a new and ambitious London based 5 piece who essentially write pop songs but execute them with a sound that no one has yet managed to put in a box. Though the band is only a year old, they have began to gain positive coverage on blogs and recently received radioplay on BBC 6Music. Blonde Bunny have just released their debut EP which is available as a free download.
